Yoz...I am back to update my blog again! I am super happy today because my boss is away from today till next week and the annual report is finally completed and handed in. Yay!!! But, I still got another one to complete (+_+).
Haha...that's not going to spoil my mood for today loh. As usual, I very long never update my blog liao so I got tons and tons of things to write, so be patient with me ok?
台灣Someone recently asked me why am I so into Taiwan? It is simple, because:
1. Taiwan guys are much cuter and taller as compared to Singaporean guys.
2. Taiwan people, in general are more well dressed and up to date with fashion as compared to here.
3. Taiwan has lotsa night markets that I go totally crazy for.
4. 炸雞排,臭豆腐, 麵線, 魯肉飯, 肉圓, di gua qiu are food that I crave about but I cant find any good ones here in Singapore.
5. I love the little surprises each time you reach a corner of the streets. You can never be sure what you will see next. It can be some push carts selling unique accessories, or some temporary food stalls, or even some special idol shop hidden in the corner.
6. I absolutely enjoy it when I can cross the road diagonally at a T-Junction.
7. Taiwan has brands like DHC, Majolica, Chic Choc which Singapore dont have loh.
8. Shu Uemura and MAC is so much cheaper in Taiwan...WHY? *sobs*
9. Oh ya! They have many many idol shops selling many many things that even I went totally crazy about.
10. The clothes at 五分埔市集 are so frigging cheap. I mean where can you find jean with crystals and designs and is selling only at a price of S$20 in Singapore?
11. There are so many shops selling nice bags, boots, shoes and accessories that I go goo goo gaa for.
12. Most of the shops there open till late in the night so for nocturnal animals like me, how can I not be happy?
13. You wont have any trouble finding food to eat for supper coz all you need is to walk along the streets and you will find good food without fail. Even if you cant find it, there's still the trusty 7-11 which sell very nice bian dan, that I am drooling for now. I miss the cup noodles there too!
14. I love the sea and mountains there.
15. Lastly, FRH, SHE and Tank are all from Taiwan loh and I 3 months never see them liao leh...Miss them so much. Period.
KTV SessionWent out with At, Haoyi and Ruth last sat. We were supposed to go to the EL sale but due to unforseen circumstances, we did not go in the end. It is good in a way that it save my pocket from burning a hole again. Yupz, I just burn a hole last month after buying a wallet but it is worth it lah coz I love it so much.
So, At and I head over to Goodwood Park Hotel for the much anticipated durian puffs, durian cakes and swissrolls. It was so heavenly loh and the ambience was so nice and relaxing, felt as if we were some tai tai having high tea.
After that, we went to take neoprints and we made so much noise as we dont understand what were all those Japanese words about? So we trial and error loh but the pics were still not bad lah...got xi gan...haha
Finally met up with Haoyi and Ruth for the long awaited K session. It was really fun and havoc singing with them coz all of us were on our feets dancing here and jumping there. I told Haoyi that At and I always sing RnB songs in the KTV and she went: " Na li ke neng? How to sing?" At and I proved her wrong by singin 'Milkshake', 'Superstar', 'My Humps' etc. Haha...we even sang techno songs loh. Power boh?
The K session was really fun though it was only a 3 hr session. Everything was great except for the service. It is so rude to raise voice at customers loh. I tried to be nice and understanding and explain everything nicely but if you take this for granted then dont blame me for turning ugly. Ruth is really good with her words, finally solved the whole issue and all of a sudden, the waiters and waitresses damn polite to us loh. Singapore is after all a tertiary industry country, so good services is very crucial to everyone, whether you are local anot. Never underestimate the power of human communication coz bad things always travel further and faster than good stuffs. That outlet will definitely be striked off from my frequent list.
Our K session lasted till 10.30pm. At and I feel so weird to go home so early so we went over to Simpang Bedok to have the delicious Maggi Goreng that Daniel sweared to be the best. We even ordered Tom Yum Soup. The food was so spicy and hot but it was very shiok!
ST, waiting for you to come back then we can go to our 'lao di fang' for prata and tek tarik and we can continue our beer drinking session and play FRH poker cards....haha
My FuneralWas chatting with At on the MSN just now and we came to the topic of 'Funeral'. I guess most of you by now, will know that my funeral will not be serving curry chicken coz it is so boring. During my funeral, I want Tom Yum soup, sambal stingray, sambal kangkong etc to be served to those who come to pay their respects. Such local food must definitely have beers to go with so different type of beers will be served chill. In addition, when people bow and pay their respect to me, I dont want joss sticks. They have to take 2 tequila pop each, 1 they "POP" it and down it at 1 go and for the other 1, they must pour it over the floor for 'me'. I guess Haoyi cant come for my funeral liao loh coz must down tequila pop leh...hehe
Oh ya....please dun play those dong dong qiang qiang songs k? Please play RnB music for me k and we can all party and have fun.
Haha....the above is of no offence to anyone. It is just a pact between my friends and me.
Remember to come and see me k and please burn me all those Magazines and Posters that I have at home. Not forgetting, my DVDs, FRH poker cards and PSP hor. I want to be able to see shuai ge and play when I am up there...hopefully*crossing my fingers*.
